“My Strategies for Staying Safer” is a tool that has been designed to help women living with a partner who acts abusively to create a plan for staying safer. It may be particularly helpful for women living outside of large urban areas.

The tool offers women who stay in, or return to, an abusive relationship, an opportunity to reflect on the situations in their lives that may put them at risk of serious harm by their partner.

The booklet provides an overview of process of disclosing abuse. It also includes comprehensive decision-making tools to increase personal safety such as risk assessment charts and safety plan developments.
